Our philosophy

Have you ever attended a course where you're stood in a crowd around an ultrasound machine, straining to see what's going on?

Our courses are different!

We believe that ultrasound-guided nerve blocks can only be learnt by actual practical exposure to the techniques.

We limit the group size and have a large faculty so all candidates have sufficient time "hands on". Our enthusiastic faculty are all very experienced block practitioners- most of whom first learnt to perform regional blocks before the widespread availability of ultrasound in UK theatre suites. They have a wealth of experience and can share many practical tips which will help you in becoming effective in the application of these exciting & useful techniques.

Our aim is to de-mystify what is often seen as a dark art and help to make ultrasound use a non-threatening adjunct to everyday anaesthetic practice.
